Hello. My name is Jayne. Born and brought up in the Black Country, I am now living in Burton on Trent, the brewing capital of the UK. I feel very lucky to live and work here and be a stones throw away from the gorgeous countryside, the Peak District in one direction and Cannock Chase in the other.
I am passionate about lots of things. I used to own a coffee shop so love a good coffee (aka a coffee snob), vodka and chocolate! My family mean everything to me, and it is my mission to create wonderful ceremonies that I know they would be proud of. I LOVE hearing peoples stories – even though you may not think it, each of us has lived a remarkable, unique life with a wonderful story to tell.
I am an independent celebrant trained by Civil Ceremonies and proud to have received the highest-level qualification available in the UK at this time. I am registered and insured with the Association of Independent Celebrants.
I worked as a midwife in the NHS and feel this has helped me incredibly throughout my celebrant life. Staying calm in a crisis, listening, being an advocate but most of all valuing each person that I work with.
Book a chemistry call with me by clicking the ‘book an appointment’ button to find out if I am the right Celebrant for you. There is no obligation to book, and it will be wonderful to hear about your plans so far.
With a celebrant led wedding, there are no restrictions in terms of the content, format, or style of your wedding. It can be completely personalised to reflect your personalities. With your input all the way through, I can help to create a ceremony containing some of the traditional elements that you and your guests would expect to see. This may include the exchange of rings and vows, but I will also ensure that your love story is told, that your family are involved (if you want them to be).
It may be that you are having a festival themed wedding, full of love and laughter and anecdotes about your relationship. You may want an emotional ceremony that evokes tears of joy from your guests, or you may want any intimate ceremony for just the two of you. Anything goes.
From our first conversation, I will get to know you both and we will work together to create the most perfect ceremony that will WOW you and your guests. You can include anything you would like, readings, symbolic gestures, personalised vows, songs and so much more.

What’s included in our bespoke wedding ceremony for £500
All of the couples I work with get my help in writing their vows as part of the wedding package.
I do offer a Vow Writing Service as a separate service for couples who aren’t clients. Some couples just can’t find the words, or are maybe a little anxious or scared of public speaking.
I will work with you to create beautiful custom wedding vows.
We will chat through things, I will send a draft, edit and edit again until you are happy that your words will melt the heart of your loved one and your guests.
My fee for vow writing is £100, or £150 if you both want to use the service. This often works well so that I can ensure that the words flow between you both and tie together.
A beautiful ceremony to name your baby and introduce them to your family and friends. A naming ceremony also honours the people you would like to be an influence on their lives as they grow into adulthood.
But naming ceremonies are not just for babies. They can be for children of any age, as well as welcoming stepchildren or adopted children into your family.
Also, a wonderful way for people with a trans experience to embrace their name.

Grief is hard, and death often arrives when we feel we are ill-prepared for it. This leaves just a short time to think about and prepare a ceremony that offers meaning to the life of your loved one.
A funeral celebrant can help you navigate the tricky waters of funeral preparation. You can trust me with your love and your memories and stories of your loved one. I will help to weave them into a meaningful and truly beautiful ceremony.
It is a sad fact that people often spend more on their funeral flowers than they do on a Celebrant. And yet, a celebrant will sit with you, listen to you talk about your loved one, gently guide you if you need them to, then go away and write a life story, often in a short space of time.
A funeral ceremony does not have to be limited to 20 minutes in the local crematorium. You can hold it anywhere. And a celebrant led funeral will help you to facilitate this.
Book a chemistry call and have a chat about your options.
